MyGroceryPal terms of use
Version 2026-10-11. Last updated 11 October 2026.
These terms apply when you use the MyGroceryPal website, apps or browser extension. By using the service, you agree to them.
The service
MyGroceryPal is provided as is. We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the service, and we do not promise that it will always be available or error-free.
Price and availability information is indicative and may be delayed or incorrect. The price and availability shown by the retailer at checkout always govern your purchase.
Acceptable use
You may use MyGroceryPal for personal, lawful purposes. You must not:
- use automated tools to extract information in bulk;
- interfere with, overload or attempt to bypass the service's security;
- misuse an account, impersonate someone else or access another person's account; or
- use the service in a way that breaks the law or another person's rights.
Subscriptions (MyGroceryPal Pro)
MyGroceryPal Pro is an optional paid subscription, available in the UK. It removes ads, including sponsored partner offers, in the app and on the website, and gives you unlimited target prices and unlimited brand and keyword alerts, in place of the free plan's 3 target prices and 10 alerts. Alerts are subject to a fair-use limit of 1,000 per account to prevent abuse. Links to shops may still be affiliate links, which never change the prices we show.
You can buy Pro in the MyGroceryPal app on iPhone or Android, through the App Store or Google Play, or on the website when you are signed in. Pro works everywhere you sign in with the same account, wherever you bought it.
Price and renewal
- Pro costs £0.99 a month or £7.99 a year. The price shown at checkout before you confirm is the price you pay.
- In the app, payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase. On the website, we take payment by card through our payment providers, RevenueCat and Stripe, when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and your account is charged for the next period, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- If the price changes, Apple or Google will tell you in advance, as their rules require, and where those rules ask for it you will need to agree to the new price before it applies. For a subscription bought on the website, we will email you before a new price applies, and you can cancel before it does.
Managing and cancelling
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or in the app from Profile, then MyGroceryPal Pro, then Manage subscription. A subscription bought on the website is managed or cancelled on the website from the same place, or from the link in your receipt email. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
Deleting your MyGroceryPal account cancels a subscription bought on the website straight away, and Pro ends then. It does not cancel one bought in the App Store or Google Play: cancel that there first, or you may continue to be charged.
Refunds and your right to cancel
For Pro bought in the app, Apple or Google takes your payment, so refunds are handled by them under their own policies. To ask for one, use reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or follow Google Play's refund help.
For a subscription bought on the website, we take the payment. If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, email hello@mygrocerypal.co.uk from the address on your account and we will refund that payment in full.
UK consumer law gives you 14 days to cancel many online purchases. For digital content or services that start straight away, that right can end once you agree to the service starting within the 14 days. How it applies to a purchase made through the App Store or Google Play is set out in Apple's or Google's terms; for the website, the full refund above goes further than that right requires. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
When Pro ends
If your subscription ends or is refunded, your account goes back to the free plan: ads return and the free limits apply. Your saved items, alerts and target prices are kept. If you have more than the free limits allow, the existing ones stay, but you can only add more once you are below the limit.
Apple users
If you use MyGroceryPal on an Apple device, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, alongside these terms.
Accounts and deletion
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure. You can delete your account in the app. The privacy policy explains what happens to personal data and how to exercise your rights.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links. MyGroceryPal may earn a commission if you follow one and make a purchase. This does not change the prices shown.
Third parties and trade marks
Retailer sites and other third-party services have their own terms and policies. Their names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in MyGroceryPal does not imply affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship.
Liability
To the extent UK law allows, MyGroceryPal is not liable for losses caused by relying on indicative price or availability information, third-party services, or interruption of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your statutory consumer rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by UK law. The UK courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have where you live.
